Use Bar Chart: Function of a Variable to visualize average survey responses by one categorical variable.

Example

A rating scale survey question is one where the response can take on many values, such as 1–10 or 1–100.

In this worksheet, Rating is the variable. Department is the categorical variable.

How-to

  1. Choose Solutions Modules > Functions > Customer Contact Center KPIs, then select Launch.
  2. Under Customer Satisfaction, select Rating scale survey.
  3. Select Visualize relationships with rating scale survey responses, then click OK.
  4. Select Bar Chart: Function of a Variable, then click OK.
  5. From Function, select the function of survey response that you want to graph.
  6. In Graph variables (desktop app) or Y-variable (web app), enter the column that contains the survey responses.
  7. In Categorical variable, enter the column of categorical data that defines the groups.
  8. Click OK.
