Specify the default fill settings for the figure region

File > Options > Graphics > Regions > Figure

Specify the default fill pattern, borders, and fill lines of the figure region of a graph. The figure region is the area just within the graph region that includes the data region, axes, labels, titles, and footnotes. Typically, graphs, including overlaid and paneled graphs, have only one figure region.
