Percent agreement

The percentage of matches in the ratings.

The percent agreement = 100 * (m) / N

Term	Description
m	the number of matched ratings
N	the total number of samples that are inspected

Minitab calculates the confidence intervals for the percent agreement.

95% Lower Bound: Minitab calculates the lower bound of the percent agreement confidence interval when α = 0.05 by:; v₁ = 2m; v₂ = 2 (N – m + 1); If percent = 0 (no agreement), the lower bound = 0. If percent = 1 (perfect agreement), use α instead of α/ 2 in the formula.
95% Upper Bound: Minitab calculates the upper bound of the percent agreement confidence interval when α = 0.05 by:; v₁ = 2 (m + 1); v₂ = 2 (N – m); If percent = 0 (no agreement), use a instead of α/ 2 in the formula. If percent = 1 (perfect agreement), the upper bound = 1.
