Hypotheses for 2-Sample t

For 2-sample t, the hypotheses are as follows.
Null hypothesis
H0: μ1 – μ2 = δ0 The difference between the population means (μ1 – μ2) equals the hypothesized difference (δ0).
Alternative hypothesis
Select one of the following alternative hypotheses.
H1: μ1– μ2≠ δ0 The difference between the population means (μ1 – μ2) does not equal the hypothesized difference (δ0).
H1: μ1– μ2> δ0 The difference between the population means (μ1 – μ2) is greater than the hypothesized difference (δ0).
H1: μ1– μ2< δ0 The difference between the population means (μ1 – μ2) is less than the hypothesized difference (δ0).
