How can I locate my computer's MAC or physical address?
You can get the MAC address of a network interface card, which is also known
as the physical address of the computer, by using the following procedure.
Access the command prompt;
type
cmd in the search box and press
Enter.
At the command prompt, type
ipconfig /all, and then press
Enter. The MAC address appears in Physical Address
as a combination of 12 letters and numbers with a dash after every 2
characters. If
your
computer has two or more MAC addresses, then you need to choose the MAC
address of a network card that is always enabled.
Once you have found the MAC
address, you can copy that MAC address from the command prompt window.
Right-click the MAC address and select
Mark.
Hold the left mouse button
down while selecting the entire address, and then press
Enter.
Open a new text document and
paste the MAC address.
Remove the dashes from the MAC
address. You can now copy and paste the MAC address into the MAC address field
when you create a license file.
