Use the Account Settings in the user menu to generate an API token.
Create a new token

Select the User Menu button
to open the dropdown menu.
- Choose Account Settings and validate your current password.
- Select Generate Token.Minitab Connect adds a new token. If you have existing tokens, the new token is added to the list.
Edit a token
Once you have created a token, you can edit the name and expiration date.
- Select the down arrow
next to the token that you want to edit. - Change the default name, API Token, to a meaningful name.
- Select the calendar button to change the expiration date.
- Select Save Token.
