Stack worksheets

Data > Stack Worksheets

Complete the following steps to stack multiple worksheets.

  1. From Stack option, select the way to stack worksheets:
    • Stack worksheets in a new worksheet: Stack worksheets to form a new worksheet.

      Complete the following steps to specify the worksheets.
      1. Use the right arrow to move the worksheets from Available worksheets to Worksheets to stack. Use the up and down arrows to change the order the worksheets are stacked in.
      2. In New worksheet name, enter a name for the stacked worksheet.
    • Append worksheets to the bottom of a master worksheet: Add worksheets to the bottom of a master worksheet. Select this option if you regularly add data to a master worksheet. For example, a sales manager has a master worksheet of sales data that she updates monthly with additional sales data from other worksheets.

      Complete the following steps to specify the worksheets:
      1. From Master worksheet, select the worksheet that you want to append the other worksheets to.
      2. Use the right arrow to move the worksheets from Available worksheets to Worksheets to stack. Use the up and down arrows to change the order the worksheets are stacked in.
      3. If you have a column in the master worksheet that identifies the source worksheet for each row, select Update the following column with the worksheet source name for each appended row. Then, from Column, select the column that identifies the source worksheet. Minitab adds the worksheet source name to this column for the appended rows.
  2. Select Show summary table to display a summary of the executed command.
