Appearance Approval Report

With the PPAP project template, use the Appearance Approval Report to verify that the final product is inspected and meets the appearance requirements as specified by the design.
The Appearance Approval Report answers the following questions.
  • Does the appearance of the final product match the customer's expectations?
  • Do all aspects of the final product's color, texture, hue, and so on adhere to the requirements of the design?


Complete this form with the customer.
  1. Enter all relevant customer information.
  2. Select at least one reason for the submission.
  3. With the customer, evaluate the appearance of the product and, upon approval, have the customer sign and date the report.
  4. Document any necessary details related to appearance.
