Merge or split cells

When you design a form, you can merge or split cells in a layout grid or in the header or footer of a data-entry table. However, you cannot merge or split cells in the rows of a data-entry table.

Merge cells

  1. In Design mode, select the cells to merge.
  2. On the Tables menu, select Merge Cells.

Split cells

  1. In Design mode, select the cell to split.
  2. On the Tables menu, select Split Cell.
