Accessing Add-ons

Some features are only available as part of a different simulation package (e.g. Business or Twin) or as a separate Add-on.

Most of the time, all features available to you will automatically be available. Sometimes, however, Simul8 is unable to connect to our server to update your Add-ons list due to security settings or a firewall. If this happens, there is a quick and easy way to manually update your Add-ons.

1. Navigate to File > About > Activate Add-ons.
2. Simul8 will ask if you already have an Activation Key. If we have provided you with one, select yes and then enter this on the next dialog. If not, you can generate one in the next step.
3. If you selected "No" as the previous option, you are now provided with a URL and an Access Code. Copy the Access Code and click on the URL to open it in your browser.
4. Entering the Access Code on the web page and clicking Activate Add-ons, will generate an Activation Key. Copy this and enter it back into Simul8 and all of the Add-ons available on your subscription will be available.
