Results Examples

This section includes templates for obtaining standard results (including pre-embedded Simul8 results) or results in non-standard formats (including calculations of additional results and customized result logs).

display_result_onscreen_during_run.s8: Shows how to display a result dynamically updating on screen.
log_entry_exit_times_and_object_for_each_work_item.s8: Shows how to create a log for each Work Item entering or exiting a Simulation Object. The log records the Work Item's ID number, the respective Object, and the entry/exit times to/from the Object.
customised_results_get_average_confidenceintervals.s8: Shows how to get Confidence Interval Results for a result that you have created (i.e. could not be found in the list of pre-embedded Simul8 results).
track_time_each_item_spends_in_system_with_visual_logic.s8: Tracks time each Work item spends in the simulation. Please note that these results can also be obtained using Transaction logs by Area.
end_point_workcompleted_results.s8: Shows how to display the Work Completed Result of End Points on a Chart.
timing_by_label_and_transaction_logs.s8: This example uses Timing by Label, so that an Activity's process time depends on the type of the Work Item. Here, this is validated with the use of Transaction Logs.
get_trial_run_number_with_mda.s8: This example shows how to record results from each trial run to the respective sheet in a Multi-Dimensional Array
