Labels Control Work Item Images

To use Labels to change the image for a Work Item as it completes work at an Activity, ensure that one of the Work Item's Labels is set in one of the following ways.

The value of the Label DOES NOT have to be changed by the Activity's Actions but the Label does need to be listed in the Actions dialog (the particular Label can be set to NO CHANGE if desired).

Text Labels

If a Work Item has a text Label with the name IMAGE and that Label is listed in an Activity's Actions then the image for the Work Item will be changed to the image named in the Label. (Simul8 looks for an image whose name matches the text contained in the Label of the Work Item).

Number Labels

If a Work Item has a number Label with a name beginning with IMAGE: and that Label is listed in an Activity's Actions then Simul8 will take the rest of the Label's name and add to it the value in the Label and then look for an image with that name.

For example a Label called IMAGE:Product containing the number 4 will cause the Activity to change the Work Items image to Product4 (if that image exists).

In all cases, the IMAGE button in the Activity GRAPHICS dialog has priority over any changes based on Label.
