You can apply one or more filters so that the report shows only the information you want to see.

When you apply or remove filters during a session, Qeystone maintains your filter settings, even if you switch reports. However, default filter settings are restored every time you sign in. To change the default filter settings, apply the filters in edit mode.

  1. Under the report name, click the add button , which is circled in the following image, and then choose a filter.
    You can apply multiple filters. Each filter you apply is displayed above the report. Filters that have a drop-down list button, such as the filter in the following image, contain options.
  2. To select filter options, click the drop-down list button , choose the options you want, and click Update. If you select more than one option, the report shows projects that match any of the selected options.
    In this filter, a gray dot indicates that North America is the default selection.

Example of how multiple filters determine report results

When multiple filters are applied, Qeystone performs an AND operation between the filters and an OR operation between selected filter options. For example, three filters are defined with the following criteria:
Filter Criteria
In Progress Project Status IS In Progress; AND
Projects by Region, a filter that contains options Region IS North America OR European Union
When the filters are applied, the report shows only DMAIC projects that are in progress in either North America or the European Union.
