By default, Minitab cannot interact with an
Anaconda environment. For Minitab to run
Python scripts using an
Anaconda environment, you must use the
Anaconda Prompt to launch Minitab. Complete the following steps to run Minitab in an
Anaconda environment.
- Open an
Anaconda Prompt.
- (Optional) Activate the
Anaconda environment you want to run Minitab in using the command:
Activate.
- Copy the path to
Mtb.exe. You can find the path by navigating to the Minitab install location or by copying the
Target from a shortcut to Minitab.
Tip
The default Minitab install location on
Microsoft® Windows is
"C:\Program Files\Minitab\Minitab {version number}\Mtb.exe".
- Paste the path into the
Anaconda Prompt and press
Enter.
