Store statistics for Analyze Taguchi Design (Dynamic)

Stat > DOE > Taguchi > Analyze Taguchi Design > Storage

You can save statistics from your analysis to the worksheet so that you can use the statistics in other analyses, graphs, and macros. Minitab stores the statistics after the last column of data. The names of the storage columns end with a number that increases as you store the same statistic multiple times.

The statistics that are available for storage depend on the options that you select for the analysis. For more details on particular statistics, go to All statistics and graphs.

Response statistics

Signal to Noise ratios
Minitab stores the signal-to-noise ratio in the column SNRA1.
Slopes
Minitab stores the slopes in the column SLOPE1.
Intercepts
Minitab stores the intercepts in the column INT1.
Standard deviations (square root of MSE)
Minitab stores the standard deviations in the column STDE1.
Ln of standard deviations
Minitab stores the natural log of the standard deviations in the column LSTD1.

Fits and residuals

You must fit a linear model in the Analysis sub-dialog box to have the following statistics available for storage.
Fits
Minitab stores the fits for signal-to-noise ratios, slopes, and standard deviations in the columns FITS_SN1, FITS_SLOPES1, and FITS_STDEV1.
Residuals
Minitab stores the residuals for signal-to-noise ratios, slopes, and standard deviations in the columns RESI_SN1, RESI_SLOPES1, and RESI_STDEV1.
Standardized residuals
Minitab stores the standardized residuals for signal-to-noise ratios, slopes, and standard deviations in the columns SRES_SN1, SRES_SLOPES1, and SRES_STDEV1.
Deleted residuals
Minitab stores the deleted residuals for signal-to-noise ratios, slopes, and standard deviations in the columns TRES_SN1, TRES_SLOPES1, and TRES_STDEV1.

Model information

You must fit a linear model in the Analysis sub-dialog box to have the following statistics available for storage.
Coefficients
Minitab stores the coefficients for signal-to-noise ratios, slopes, and standard deviations in the columns COEF_SN1, COEF_SLOPES1, and COEF_STDEV1.
Design matrix
Minitab stores the design matrix in a matrix called XMAT1.

Other diagnostics

You must fit a linear model in the Analysis sub-dialog box to have the following statistics available for storage.
Hi (leverage)
Minitab stores the leverages in the column HI1.
Cook’s distance
Minitab stores the Cook's distance for signal-to-noise ratios, slopes, and standard deviations in the columns COOK_SN1, COOK_SLOPES1, and COOK_STDEV1.
DFITS
Minitab stores the coefficients for signal-to-noise ratios, slopes, and standard deviations in the columns DFIT_SN1, DFIT_SLOPES1, and DFIT_STDEV1.
