Some data prep steps require that all data columns have the same number of rows.
By default, the Minitab Data
Center opens data files and creates columns with equal lengths by populating
the empty cells with missing values.
To revert to the original unequal columns, open the Initial Cleanup step and select Create columns with equal lengths.
Note
Minitab Data Center displays
a warning because some data prep steps require equal column lengths. To
create equal columns, right-click on the warning and select Create columns with equal lengths. For more information, go to Initial data cleanup step.
Total rows always refers to the column with the the longest length when column lengths
vary.
