Manage the dataset schema

The dataset schema defines the organization and characteristics of the columns in the dataset.

Select the data source node to open the Data Source view.
Scroll to the bottom of the Options pane and select Manage Columns.
You can do any of the following actions.
- Select the columns to include in the dataset.
- Change any data types. Each column can contain numeric, text, or date/time data.
- Rename columns if necessary.
Select OK to save your changes.

Note

The sample values in the Manage Columns view represent the most frequent data values from the original source data. These values do not update as you clean the data set.
