Manage the dataset schema

The dataset schema defines the organization and characteristics of data within the dataset.

In the Data Source view, select Manage Columns in the upper-right corner of the data grid.
Select the columns to include in the dataset.
Change any data types. Each column can contain numeric, text, or date/time data.
Rename columns if necessary.
Select OK to save your changes.

Note

The sample values in the Manage Columns view represent the most frequent data values from the original source data. These values do not update as you clean the data set.
