Open Data Prep Options to access the column cleanup options.
Each data prep step becomes part of the step sequence. New steps are added after the step that is selected. Thus, you can add steps before or after any existing step.
For information on the initial cleanup step, go to Initial data cleanup step. For more information on file parsing, go to Verify parsing.
After you create the steps to clean your data, the steps are easy to export to apply to future data sets. For more information, go to Example of importing/exporting data prep steps.
To revert a step, select Undo.
Open the settings of the individual step that you want to edit.
When the original source data file has updates, for example, if you add new rows or columns, you can pull in the latest changes to your file in the Data Center.
Select Refresh next to the filename of the data to upload the new changes. After the latest
version of your file has been uploaded, all the previously configured steps are
re-executed to apply the data transformations to the most recent data.
If the data source file is saved locally or cannot be found in the repository, you can browse to it to reload.
