If a slicer filters out all data, the dashboard does not display the affected asset. If a slicer includes multiple variables, the asset is hidden when any one of those variables filters out all data, even if other variables still have data available.
Use Select one or more variables on the right side of the screen to specify one or more variables to control the display. Once you select a variable, the title of the control uses the name of the variable. Use the Title control on the pane to change the title.
The default range is the lowest and highest values from the variables that you select. Drag
the slider or change the number in the box to update the range of values for the slicer. If
you want a bound instead of a range, select less than or greater than. Select the Restore Default Settings icon
to reset the slider to the default settings.

Use Presets to select a time value to filter the dashboard. Select the Restore Default Settings icon
to reset the slicer to the default settings. You can specify your
own range if you do not want to select one of the options on the list.

Use Presets to select a text value to filter the dashboard. By default, you can only select one text
value. Toggle Allow multiple values on to select more than one. Toggle Exclude 'All' option on to remove the option of selecting all text values. Select the Restore Default Settings icon
to reset the slicer to the default settings.
