After adding users to my multi-user desktop licenses, how can I add them to the existing license file/license manager?

If you added users to your multi-user desktop license and want to add them to your existing Minitab License Manager's pool of available licenses on a Windows computer, do the following:

Fulfill the additional licenses on the Multi-User Licensing page. The MAC address used for this fulfillment must be the same as the original fulfillment.

Copy and paste the new fulfillment text into the existing minitab.lic file, below the existing license information, and then save the file.

Note

Because the first three lines of the new fulfillment are redundant (SERVER, VENDOR, and USE_SERVER), delete them and use the text from the INCREMENT line and below.

Open the Services console, services.msc, on the license server computer.
Select the Minitab License Manager service.
Click Restart.

The additional users are now available for checkout. To verify, open the LMTOOLS utility, select the Server Status tab, and click Perform Status Enquiry.
