Will the multi-user versions of my desktop software run on a remote access system such as Terminal Services, Thin Client, or Citrix?

Currently, Minitab desktop products are not officially tested in a terminal services environment. We do, however, have customers who run the multi-user versions successfully in such an environment.

Most customers set up their Minitab product as a published application by installing it on each server involved in the load-balanced configuration. Citrix uses the same licensing technology as Minitab products, so we recommend installing the License Manager on a server that is outside the Citrix farm and pointing the clients to it.

The terminal does not handle processing. Therefore, to serve n users, the host machine must have enough resources for n copies of the software to run at one time.
