Start a non-workflow project

You can start a non-workflow project to skip the review and approval process required by workflow. After you start a non-workflow project, you cannot include it in the workflow process. Only administrators and data architects can include non-workflow projects in the dashboard.

As a user, you might start a non-workflow project to use Engage's tools outside of the context of an official project, for example, creating a one-off process map or brainstorming ideas during a meeting. As a data architect, you might start a non-workflow project when you are prototyping a new methodology or testing new forms.

Open the desktop app, then choose File > New.
Under Non-Workflow Projects, select the project template to use for the non-workflow project. Engage opens the template so you can start your project.
