Set preferences for starting a workflow project

Only data architects can set preferences for who can start a workflow project. Data architects can allow steering committee members to start projects from the Active stage. Data architects can also allow idea owners to start a project from any idea that they own in the hopper.

Allow Quick Start projects

Quick Start projects allow steering committee members to skip the first two stages of workflow and start projects immediately in the Active stage.

In the web app, select Design. Create a sandbox if one is not already available.
In the sandbox, select Workflow.
Under Quick Start, select Turn on Quick Start for SC members.
When you finish your changes in the sandbox and you are satisfied with how they will be applied in the live site, select Publish Changes.

Allow owner-started projects

Owner-started projects allow idea owners to start projects from their own approved ideas in the hopper.

In the web app, select Design. Create a sandbox if one is not already available.
In the sandbox, select Workflow.
Under Owner-Started Projects, select Turn on owner-started projects.
When you finish your changes in the sandbox and you are satisfied with how they will be applied in the live site, select Publish Changes.
