Shortcut keys

The following tables show the default keyboard shortcuts provided by the Engage desktop app.

General

When applicable, the following shortcuts apply throughout the desktop app.

To see all available shortcut keys on the Ribbon menu for any tool, press the Alt key.

Open a project	Ctrl+O
Save a project	Ctrl+S
Print the active window	Ctrl+P
Switch between open windows	Ctrl+F6 or Ctrl+Tab
Close the active window	Ctrl+F4
Show or hide the navigation pane	Ctrl+J
Select the next link in the task pane	Tab
Show Help	F1

The following shortcuts apply only when a node is selected on a brainstorming tool.

The following shortcuts apply only when a shape is selected on a process map or a value stream map.

Select the next shape	Tab
Select the previous shape	Shift+Tab
Move	Up, Down, Left, or Right arrow keys
Move in smaller increments	Ctrl+Up, Down, Left, or Right arrow keys
Toggle between Select and Multi-Insert modes	Ctrl+M
Delete	Delete
Edit the text	F2
Stop editing the text	Esc
Insert a hyperlink	Ctrl+K

The following shortcuts apply to forms.
