Send a process map to Simul8

Open a process map from Engage directly in Minitab® Simul8 for simulation and analysis.

Use Send to Minitab® Simul8 to do any of the following tasks.

Simulate a process map that you created in Engage.
Test process improvements and visualize their impact.
Avoid re-entering process data manually in Simul8.

When you send a process map to Simul8, Engage automatically checks that Simul8 (version 32, build 4948 and newer) is installed and compatible. If all requirements are met, Simul8 opens the map and imports the following data fields if they are in use.

To send a process map from Engage to Simul8, complete the following steps.

Open Simul8.
In the Engage desktop app, open the process map that you want to export and choose Map > Send to Minitab® Simul8.
Note
You can also right-click the process map in the roadmap and select Send to Minitab® Simul8 or choose File > Export > Send to Minitab® Simul8.
Go to Simul8 to review your map and continue your work.
