- Strengths: Factors that make success easy. Examples include strong brand
recognition, a loyal customer base, or a positive corporate culture.
- Weaknesses: Factors that make success difficult. Examples include poor
customer service, high employee turnover, or lack of budget.
- Opportunities: Factors that represent potential growth. Examples include a
change in demographics, advances in technology, or a strong economy.
- Threats: Factors that represent risk. Examples include rising cost of
materials, weakening demand, or inflation.
- Use the matrix to explore strategies to leverage your strengths, eliminate
weaknesses, capitalize on opportunities, and mitigate threats.
