Create a table for managed data

Only data architects can create tables to store managed data from external applications.

To include managed data for a project in dashboard reports, a data architect must first create a table for it in the sandbox. After a data architect creates the table and publishes it to the live site, then only a data manager can import managed data as a CSV file from external applications. Because managed data is read-only, users cannot edit the values. This eliminates manual re-entry and user error and increases the integrity of your dashboard reports.

For information about how to import managed data, go to Import managed data.
