Data Set Library

Minitab provides numerous sample data sets taken from real-life scenarios across many different industries and fields of study. With them you can:
  • Practice performing analyses and interpretation.
  • Explore alternate data layouts.
  • Investigate statistical tools commonly used in your industry.

These data sets are organized by statistical area, but this is just a starting point. For example, most data sets can be graphed in some way, and many analyses logically lead to others.

Note

These data sets are compatible with Minitab Statistical Software (desktop and web apps). However, not all of the suggested statistical analyses are available in the web app.
