In the Companiondesktop app, you can customize project templates to define the phases and the forms and tools to use in each phase.
cloudIn the full version of Companion, only data architects can save custom projects as templates. If you are a data architect, go to Create project templates.
In the desktop app, choose File > New.
Choose Project to create a new project template, or choose an existing project template to edit.
In the Roadmap, you can add phases. For example, you might create an IDEAL project template that has the following phases: Initiate, Diagnose, Establish, Act, and Learn.
To the phases, you can add, forms, tools, and folders. You can delete, move, or rename phases, forms, tools, and folders as necessary.
After you complete the template, choose File > Save As Template > Save As Project Template, then enter a name for the project template and click Save. By default, the Companiondesktop app saves the project template to your Personal folder. To change this default location, go to Specify where custom templates are saved.
