A reliability engineer at a kitchen appliance manufacturer wants to improve the reliability of the dishwasher spray arms that the company manufactures. The engineer collects failure data and records when and how dishwasher spray arms fail.
You can use this data to demonstrate Parametric Distribution Analysis (Right Censoring) and Nonparametric Distribution Analysis (Right Censoring). Because the data include multiple failure modes, you can assess the reliability caused by different failure modes.
