To check which version of the License Manager you are currently running,
choose one of the options below.
Windows
Verify Minitab License Manager (latest version is 2.1.0):
- On the machine where the License
Manager is installed, open .
- Scroll to Minitab License Manager
in your list of installed products and check the version.
- If your version is 2.1.0, then
you have the latest version and no action is required.
- If you have a version prior to
2.1.0, then you can sign-in and download the latest version of the Minitab License Manager to
upgrade.
- The installation will guide you
through the upgrade process.
Verify
lmgrd.exe (latest version is 11.19.1.0):
- On the machine where the License Manager is
installed, browse to the installation directory:
- 64-bit version: C:\Program Files\Minitab\License
Manager
- 32-bit version: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minitab\License
Manager
- Right-click
lmgrd.exe to select
Properties.
- Select the
Details tab and view the File version.
- If your version is 11.19.1.0,
then you have the latest version and no action is required.
- If you have a version prior to
11.19.1.0, then you can sign-in and download the latest version of the Minitab License Manager to
upgrade.
- The installation will guide you
through the upgrade process.
OS X
Verify lmgrd (latest version is 11.17.0.0):
- On the machine where the
License Manager is installed, open a Terminal window. You can find the Terminal
application in /Application/Utilities or by typing
"terminal" in Spotlight Search.
- To navigate to the location
of the License Manager and view the FlexNet version, type the following
commands in the Terminal window:
cd "Library/Application Support/Minitab/License Manager"
./lmgrd -v
- If your version is
11.17.0.0, then you have the latest version and no action is required.
- If you have a version prior
to 11.17.0.0, then you can sign-in and
download the latest version of the Minitab License
Manager to upgrade.
