Delete and restore projects

Project owners can delete, restore, and permanently delete their own projects. Administrators can delete, restore, and permanently delete any project.

Delete projects

When you delete a project, the project is moved to Deleted Projects in the repository, where it remains until it is either restored or permanently deleted. After a project is deleted, it is not included in the Dashboard calculations.

  1. In the project repository, select one or more projects to delete.
  2. Hold the mouse pointer on the project row, click the Manage button when it appears, and then choose Delete.

Restore projects

When you restore a project, you must choose a folder in the project repository. After a project is restored, it is included in the Dashboard calculations again.

  1. In the project repository, from the filter menu, choose Deleted Projects.
  2. Hold the mouse pointer on the row of the project to restore, click the Manage button when it appears, and then choose Restore.

Permanently delete projects

When you permanently delete a project, the project is deleted from the project repository and cannot be restored.

  1. In the project repository, from the filter menu, choose Deleted Projects.
  2. Hold the mouse pointer on row of the project to delete, click the Manage button when it appears, and then choose Permanently Delete.
