Create a single boxplot

You can create a single boxplot that represents the distribution of one variable.

For example, this boxplot represents the diameters of plastic pipes measured during the first week of production.

To create a single boxplot, you must use a worksheet that contains a column of measurement data.

  1. Choose Graph > Boxplot.
  2. Under One Y, choose Simple, then click OK.
  3. Under Graph variables, enter a column of numeric or date/time data. In the example, Week 1 is the graph variable.
