Overlay probability distribution plots of different distributions

You can compare probability distributions by displaying them overlaid on the same plot.

For example, this probability distribution plot compares the curves for a normal distribution and a Weibull distribution.

  1. Choose Graph > Probability Distribution Plot.
  2. Choose Two Distributions and click OK.
  3. From Distribution 1, choose the first type of distribution you want to compare, and then enter the parameters for the distribution. In the example, the first distribution is Normal with Mean = 0 and Standard deviation = 1.
  4. From Distribution 2, choose the second type of distribution you want to compare, and then enter the parameters for the distribution. In the example, the second distribution is Weibull with Shape = 5, Scale = 1, Threshhold = 0.
  5. Click OK.
