Overview for Simple Binary Logistic Regression

Use Simple Binary Logistic Regression to display the relationship between one continuous predictor and a binary response. A binary response has two outcomes, such as pass and fail.

For example, a medical researcher wants to examine the relationship between the age that a patient suffers a myocardial infarction and whether the patient has a favorable or an unfavorable outcome after treatment. Because the response is a binary variable and there is only one predictor, the researcher uses a simple binary logistic regression.
