For the graph to represent your data most effectively, consider the following guidelines.
- The model should provide a good fit to the data
- Verify that the model meets the assumptions of the analysis before you interpret the plots. For more information, go to Interpret the key results for Two-way ANOVA.
- Perform a two-way ANOVA first
- Factorial plots create graphs with fitted means from a two-way ANOVA model. If you did not perform a two-way ANOVA in Minitab Express, you do not have a model to use. You can create Main Effects Plot and Interaction Plot with data means instead of fitted means.
