Minitab calculates the data values for specific cumulative probabilities from the distribution that you specify. In the Inverse Cumulative Distribution Function (ICDF) dialog box, complete the following steps to specify which data values you want to calculate.

  1. In Form of input, select one of the following options.
    • A single value: Select this option to calculate the x-value of a single cumulative probability.
    • A column of values: Select this option to calculate x-values for multiple cumulative probabilities. The cumulative probabilities must be in a column in the worksheet.
  2. Enter a single cumulative probability or a column that contains multiple cumulative probabilities.
    • In Value: Enter a single cumulative probability.
