Television defects data

A quality engineer at a consumer electronics company wants to know whether the defects per television set are from a Poisson distribution. The engineer randomly selects 300 televisions and records the number of defects per television.

You can use this data to demonstrate Goodness-of-Fit Test for Poisson.

Observed The number of televisions that have the corresponding number of defects. This is a frequency column.

This data set contains summarized data: 213 televisions had 0 defects, 41 televisions had 1 defect, 18 televisions had 2 defects, and 28 televisions had 3 defects.
